The drive down to the the house itself is a gorgeous ride alongside the shallow turquoise water & black lava rock of Hawaii. The property is beautifully maintained & literally 75 feet from the ocean! I slept soundly to the steady noise of the ocean waves crashing. Woke to a gentle chorus of tropical bird sounds- parrots, doves, the Hawaiian Nene & of course, it wouldn’t be Kauai if there wasn’t the occasional chicken too haha. All marble master bathroom & huge adjacent marble hot tub & beautiful wood floors throughout creates luxury amid the unfettered beauty of lush tropical surroundings in this very private yet spacious, open air jungle bungalow setting. Massive skylight in the living room when you first walk in & good sized skylights throughout as well. Kitchen is more than stocked with everything you need to hangout & enertain. LOVED the welcome platter of various tropical fruits, coconut macaroon cookies, salted macadamia nuts. Enjoyed use of the snorkel gear & kayak they keep under the house. Neighborhood is quiet, sleepy, small town feel, friendly & nice. You can almost hear “Aloha” being whispered in the swaying palm trees all around. Shopping, a few nice restaurants & everything you need isn’t far, the charming towns of Princeville & the world famous Hanalei is a mere 5 & 6 miles away.
