Upon checkin, there was a bit of confusion because of multiple key boxes on the front door of the unit, none of which we needed or had access to. The kitchen is tiny and tight, but we made it work. It was a delight to find that there was a Brita water filter in the fridge so we didn’t need to buy filtered water. We appreciated having the visual barrier with the second bed which isn’t common in these units.We stay in various units at this property every time we visit Kona. The sound and view of the ocean is calming and delightful! The central location allows us to walk to almost everything we want — swimming, restaurants, 3 ABC stores (because 1 is never enough). It was fairly easy to deal with Vacasa, the intermediary for the owners, but they go a bit overboard with automatic texts that can be frustrating.
