Great location, easy to find, nice and comfortable home in a quiet neighborhood, minutes away from Volcanoes National park. Lots of warm blankets and heaters for the cold nights (mid 50s F). Kitchen is sufficiently stocked if you decide to cook while you are there. You will need to bring your basics (salt, pepper, oil, etc.). I’d recommend grocery shopping in Hilo before heading in. It took us about 50 minutes to/from Hilo. There are starter soaps and shampoo, but if you’re staying longer than a weekend, you’ll probably want to bring your own (I always do anyway). I’d recommend this home and would stay here again.
